Theater Rentals - Dallas Theater Center

Dallas Theater Center (DTC), in collaboration with the Dallas Office of Cultural Affairs (OCA), is excited to invite multicultural arts organizations in Dallas/Fort Worth to our Kalita Humphreys Theater campus following the rollout of the City of Dallas’ Equitable Access Plan initiative.

The Equitable Access Plan allows DTC and the City of Dallas to accommodate future growth in the cultural sector, allowing new and emerging arts organizations to have access to the campus, including the Kalita Mainstage and Bryant Hall Black Box Theater.

What is EAP?

EAP is the acronym for Equitable Access Plan.

How do I inquire about the Kalita campus rental?

Submit the facility request form. The form is digital and needs to be completed digitally. once completed, email the form to

rentals@dallastheatercenter.org. Once received, the form will be reviewed and an answer will be provided within 5 business days. calendars and rental rates are on the theater rentals page of dallastheatercenter.org.

Do you have technical elements, such as lighting and audio, for my event?

Yes, we do offer a technical inventory, based on availability. We offer staff to assist you during your event. detailed specifications/technical rider are required to ensure you have what you need for a successful event.

Do I need a security guard for my event?

Yes, security is necessary to ensure the safety of your guests and our staff during your event. Public events require security, no exceptions.

Are tours of the Kalita Humphreys campus available?

Email rentals@dallastheatercenter.org to schedule a tour. We will do our best to accommodate based on the availability of the facility.

What are the rates for a non-profit 501(c)3 company?
