PRODUCTION

Associate General Manager

The Associate General Manager reports to the Director of Production and oversees the day-to-day fiscal management of DTC’s productions. As an energetic, organized and resourceful leader, the Associate General Manager will collaborate with the Director of Production and (Interim) Artistic Director to manage the finances for all productions, support the work of the artistic and production departments, contract all artists and production employees, manage artistic/production payroll, file royalty reports, and serve as liaison with LORT and the applicable unions (AEA, SDC, USA, AFM).

Lead Carpenter

The Lead Carpenter is responsible for the construction of the sets and other scenic elements at the Dallas Theater Center. Through their own physical work, the direction and oversight of carpenters, and the management of shop inventory and assets, they ensure the safe and timely construction of set pieces and their installation in our theaters.

Carpenter

An active member of Dallas Theater Center (DTC)’s Production Department, the Staff Carpenter is responsible for build, installation, and strike of all scenic elements. The Staff Carpenter reports to the Assistant Technical Director, and is responsible for effectively supporting the scenic design, ensuring that high artistic standards are met at all times. An ideal candidate would be someone who is a team player, has a positive attitude, and strong communication and time management skills.
