DEVELOPMENT

MANAGER OF GRANTS & PROSPECT RESEARCH

The Manager of Grants and Prospect Research will identify, define, and develop funding sources, build and nurture relationships to support existing and planned program activities, productions, and other special initiatives at Dallas Theater Center in addition to leading the development, writing, and submission of grant proposals to local, state, federal, and private funding agencies.

PRODUCTION

PRODUCTION MANAGER

The Production Manager (PM) works to ensure all productions are produced in a timely and fiscally responsible manner with the highest artistic quality possible as the default lead Production Manager on all shows. They also support the Director of Production with current management and operations in the Production Department, as well as planning for the future seasons. The Production Manager serves as the Production Department Head for Production Management, chair of the Production Safety Subcommittee, and supervises the Assistant Production Manager, supporting them in their essential duties and responsibilities.

This is a full-time, exempt position, which is not eligible for overtime. This position includes a full benefits package: medical, dental and vision insurance, DTC-paid life insurance, voluntary life insurance and 403b programs, complimentary tickets and generous paid-time off. Some nights and weekends will be required as needed throughout the season

ASSISTANT PRODUCTION MANAGER

The Assistant Production Manager (APM) is responsible for supporting the Production Manager in ensuring that all productions are produced in a timely and fiscally responsible manner with the highest artistic quality possible. The APM supports the Production Department as a whole as the principal scheduler for meetings and by coordinating the onboarding for new & returning overhire hires. The APM will also serve as the lead Production Manager on projects of their own, as assigned by the Production Manager, primarily focusing on community-based initiatives.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position, which is eligible for overtime. TECHNICAL OPERATIONS MANAGER

Dallas Theater Center (DTC) is seeking a Technical Operations Manager to support house technical needs, rental companies and inventory management for Bryant Hall’s Heldt Black Box (the Heldt) and the Kalita Humphreys Theater (the Kalita). The Kalita is a historic theater in Dallas with recurring and one off renters, as well as in-house producing needs. This manager is responsible for ensuring proper maintenance of equipment in these spaces, coordination with production departments for repairs and inventory updates, and the safe operation of all onsite technical equipment. Shows and Events (DTC and rental) that take place in the Kalita Campus venues may require overhire production staff; this position will be responsible for assessing those needs and supervising these staff for on site work as needed.
