DEVELOPMENT

MANAGER OF CORPORATE RELATIONS

The Manager of Corporate Relations reports to the Director of Development and is a front-line fundraising position responsible for the solicitation and stewardship of all corporate partners (pre-pandemic portfolio of 50-60 valued at approximately $725,000; current portfolio of 25 valued at $600,000). Responsibilities include researching prospect companies, developing sponsorship and corporate gift proposals and/or grant applications, directly soliciting corporate contributions and sponsorships, planning and executing corporate events for sponsors, and creating and submitting final reports. The person in this position is responsible for recruiting new corporate donors and increasing the total contributions from corporate donors in alliance with DTC’s strategic plan. This position works directly with DTC artistic, education, and administrative staff, as well as members of the Board of Trustees.

MARKETING

TESSITURA ANALYST

The Tessitura Analyst is a three-month, part-time position (20 hours/week) that provides essential support for all Dallas Theater Center departments in their use of Tessitura. The Analyst supports DTC’s in-house Box Office, Marketing Department, Development Department and Finance Department in their collection, use and analysis of customer data. The Analyst will use Tessitura to analyze and report on all sales and donor data; will manage all system setup for box office, season ticket, single ticket, donations and online sales; and will maintain system integrity and provide constituent data for the purposes of research, marketing, and donor cultivation. Working with all administrative departments, the Tessitura Analyst is responsible for overseeing the training of all internal DTC Tessitura users and keeps the organization and users up-to-date on features and upgrades of the Tessitura software and network. Previous experience with Tessitura network required.

This is a three-month, hourly (20 hours per week), non-exempt position, which is eligible for overtime. After three months, there is the possibility the position may be extended. Candidates do not need to reside in Dallas. The Analyst is welcome to work remotely from anywhere in the world. Additionally, with the advance approval of the Executive Director, they may choose the time of day and day of the week in which they will work their weekly 20 hours with significant flexibility. Though the Analyst is welcome to work at DTC’s Administrative Office in the Dallas Arts District, this position may work remotely at all times. SOCIAL MEDIA & CONTENT MANAGER

The Social Media & Content Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing multichannel marketing campaigns and promotional content that promote our company and its products and/or services. This position plays a major role in enhancing brand awareness across a variety of channels as well as driving website traffic to engage with and acquire leads/customers.

This position represents the voice of the brand in an online social setting, while also capturing the true essence of the brand via photography and videography. Develops key social media strategies and evaluates new multichannel technologies, using performance analytics tools to measure campaign success. Develop social media and interactive customer experience concepts and strategies that put the company’s product in front of its target audience. Being adept at enhancing brand awareness, driving traffic to the company’s website, and generating leads.

The Social Media & Content Manager will effectively use company assets (social media, photography, and videography) to create marketing strategies that will boost conversion rates and ultimately increase our company’s ROI. Innovative thinking, a focus on positive customer experience and a proactive mindset are essential in this role.

PUBLIC WORKS

PART-TIME TEACHING ARTIST

Teaching Artists will work closely with Public Works staff to create outstanding educational experiences for teens in both our free community workshops throughout Dallas County, and in our flagship program, Project Discovery, which, for over 30 years has provided scholarships for students to attend plays and workshops at the Dallas Theater Center. This is a part-time position and does not include benefits. Some nights will be required as needed throughout the season.
