Next Stage is Dallas Theater Center’s after-school theater program for lower and middle school students who love to play, create, and perform. Through fun, hands-on activities in acting, movement, storytelling, and teamwork, students build confidence while exploring the magic of live theater. Whether they’re new to the stage or already dreaming of Broadway, Next Stage helps young artists grow their skills and find their unique voice in a supportive and creative environment.

Join us for a journey from rehearsal room to spotlight in this performance-based class featuring Annie KIDS! Students will experience the full process of putting on a musical—learning lines, songs, and choreography while developing stage presence and ensemble skills. With classic tunes like “Tomorrow” and “It’s the Hard Knock Life,” this class offers a fun, supportive environment where every young performer can shine. The class culminates in a
polished production for friends and family.

Dress Rehearsal: Sunday, November 16th, 12:00-4:00 PM
Final Performance: Monday, November 17 at 5:30 PM.
Take center stage in this dynamic and engaging class that brings together singing, dancing, and acting! Students will learn vocal techniques, basic choreography, and character development while working on ensemble numbers from popular Broadway musicals. Whether you’re already a triple threat or just starting out, this class helps young performers build confidence, express themselves, and shine in every spotlight.
