MARKETING

Part-Time Box Office Representative

Working closely with the Box Office Coordinator and Senior Box Office Representatives, the Box Office Representative will strive to deliver an elevated patron experience, to promote all Dallas Theater Center productions, and to resolve patron issues in a timely manner. Initial training will require being in the office two days a week. After training is complete, this role will have a hybrid work schedule with the requirement to work in the office one day a week and remotely at the discretion of the supervisor. This role will be required to work some nights and weekends at DTC performances.

FINANCE

Financial Analyst

The Financial Analyst plays a key role in the overall financial and operations goals by assisting with financial report building and maintenance, including CFM and Blackbaud reports. This position will act as the lead person for all Blackbaud security updates and account access needs. It is also responsible for supplying grant data, depositing checks, reviewing and recording credit card transactions to the GL, assisting with annual financial audits, general accounting, and attending finance and endowment committee meetings. This position will also act as a backup for payroll processing. This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer.

DEVELOPMENT

Individual Donor Relations Officer

The Individual Donor Relations Officer will manage a portfolio of individual donors giving up to $14,999. Responsibilities include acquiring and renewing donors, coordinating annual giving campaigns (including direct mail, telephone, email, and on-site) with members of the Development and Marketing teams, coordinating benefit delivery for individual donors (ex: drink vouchers, parking vouchers, welcome kits, etc), and other development tasks as assigned. This position works directly with members of the Board of Trustees, third-party vendors, and DTC artistic, production, and education staff.

Corporate & Foundation Relations Officer

The Corporate & Foundation Relations Officer will manage a portfolio of corporate and foundation donors, handling all aspects of giving, including prospect research, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship. Key responsibilities include: developing sponsorship proposals, securing corporate donations – cash and in-kind, planning corporate events, identifying and developing grant funding sources, lead the writing and submission of grant LOI’s, proposals, and applications to public and private opportunities, and submitting all final reports. This position aims to recruit new corporate and foundation donors and increase overall corporate and foundation contributions in line with DTC’s strategic goals. The Officer will collaborate with Board members, external partners, and DTC staff across artistic, production, and education departments.

PRODUCTION

Staff Electrician

The Staff Electrician is responsible for working with the Lighting Department to implement, facilitate, and maintain the Lighting Designer’s vision for all DTC shows. Additionally, the Staff Electrician is responsible for the general upkeep of DTC’s lighting equipment in conjunction with the rest of the Lighting Department. The Staff Electrician reports directly to the Assistant Head of Lighting and is responsible for effectively supporting Lighting Designers, ensuring that high artistic standards are met at all times. An ideal candidate would be someone with a clean driving record who has experience working with a variety of different lighting equipment, is a strong hands-on learner, and feels comfortable working with a team or independently.
